99 D1 AB iLAND diagnostic tool

I just got my new iLand diagnostic tool from Atlantic British in today. It says for 94-99 Discovery 1 an additional adapter is needed for 14CUX (Lucas Hotwire) ems access. What does that mean?

I have a 1999 Discovery 1 4.0 v8
I believe I have followed the directions correctly but the iLand seems to be having trouble connecting with my trucks ecu. So far it has failed every single time to connect.

UPDATE:Got it to work.
had to use Samsung galaxy note, iLand dosent seem to work with Iphone 6

the "14 cux Lucas hot wire" refers to the fuel injection system on the 1994 & 1995 vehicles only....nothing you need

I was kinda afraid of that I was hoping it was the problem. Now I have to figure out why my $400 iLand isn’t working with my truck.

It did tell me why my abs light is on though, front left wheel sensor. Lol
I just hope nothing is wrong with my truck for it not to be working

UPDATE:
This whole time Iv been trying to get it to work with my Iphone6 with no luck. So I tried again today this time with my wifes Samsung Galaxy Note and it worked.

No more high idle
