Hey all, I come here quite a bit & have never registered until now. My bypass hose valve on my LR's radiator snapped off & the shop says that it cannot be adhered back on due to being brittle. On other vehicles this valve can be sealed without any reprecussions as it simply returns coolant into the reservoir. The mechanic insists that the motor will burn up without it. Any ideas? I don't want to buy a new radiator if I don't have to.
