I've been told that I should be able to find a used LT230 transfer case reasonably inexpensively but so far I haven't had any luck. Any advice or direction to help me find one in the next week or two would be much appreciated. I'd really like to have it on the disco before I have to do real winter driving this season. I'm also off to China for a month at the begining of November so need to make arrangements to get everything fitted before leaving.

Yeah, tried that. One from a 2003 available... which isn't much help although it's good to know that if I do find a new one that selling the old one is reasonable. I'm probably just going to end up buying the parts new though and retrofitting them. More expensive but at least predictable.
