Default Aftermarket radio / Dual battery setup

Okay first Q..
Anybody have idea for the dual ant plugs from factory radio, aftermarket only have one plug... Adapter/cut splice?

Second.. On my D2 it was no prob to run dual batteries. On The D1 ? Does anybody have this setup done in their rig? Photos maybe...

Thanks

Antenna plug adapter. You just need one.

In the DII, there are 2 antennas mounted to the rear windows. One is for FM and AM, and the other is an FM only antenna. The large plug is the AM/FM one, and the small one is the FM only. My '04 has an aftermarket head unit and I'm only using the AM/FM antenna with the large plug and have no issues with the radio reception.

The DI has the same setup, with two antennae. I think they're color coded for AM/FM and FM only.
