Air filter question

Default Air filter question

Need to change my air filter, and want to buy a factory air filter. Want know where i can get the factory air filter besides the dealer! And who makes the factory air filter is it just landrover or some aftermarket brand

Why not just go to Napa and get a replacement filter? The factory filter isnt going to make any difference.

Go to NAPA, NAPA is made by WIX which is the top brand in the US.
If you really want a LR one you have to order it online, Land Rover Parts and Accessories from RovahFarm would be the first place I checked, then Land Rover Parts & Rover Accessories From Atlantic British | Discovery, Range Rover, LR3, LR2, Defender, Freelander and Land Rover Series Parts & Accessories.
LR filters, oil included, are made by MANN.

So i can just buy MANN filter and its just like the stock one?

Or factory style filter, as opposed to the rag style "performance" filter (which has no place off road)

So would recommend a MANN Filter or a Fram filter? For offroad use

MANN yes. Fram no. Fram spends so much on ads they cut corners on the filters.

I have actually found that the Fram air filter is a pretty good filter.
STP is made by Fram but for less money.
If you can buy a MANN filter on line go for it if thats what you want to do.

The best filter on the market is the factory, they are a better fit, much better paper and more of it. Go to British parts of Utah or Atlantic British to buy them.
