Default AUtomatic gear box

My Disco 4 (2010 - 80 000k) gearbox is somewhat "sticky" when slowing down. There is a slight feeling that the torque converter does not disengage (?) fast enough to allow for smooth transition from engaged to free. It feels like the engine breaks as soon as the throttle is lifted. Normal? Its my first Landie.....

Normal, not really.When was the last time you checked the fluid level, for tat matter when was it last serviced and do you have a check engine light on, if so what are the fault code numbers????????

The car was serviced in February. I have not checked any oil. There are no warning lights or codes...Ill check the oil.....
