Before taking it, why not call and discuss it? It is a cheaper fix. $100 parts plus maybe $800 labor.

The internal parts for the rear differential are available through LR so you do not have to purchase a complete assembly. There is also a technical bulletin for this problem LTB00342 it involves the replacement of the pinion bearing. Keep in mind this is NOT a recall and does not extend the warranty but it is a low cost alternative to replacing the assembly if applicable.
