Battery light on 2006 LR3
I have replaced my battery and had the system checked and the alternator is charging properly. I replaced the battery from Advanced Auto Parts and not the Interstate Battery.
Could that be what is causing the light to still come on? Does it have to be the Interstate battery? I have checked the connections and they are tight. I have also double checked the new battery and it is good.
Why does the light still come on?

What is the Cold Cranking Amp rating on the battery you purchased, and what was the voltage of the battery when tested at around 2000 RPM's under load? Should be between 13.6 and 14.4 volts.
