Default Best location to poach to conduct repairs ?

I'm excited to start on my first real project on my 1999 D1... new OME suspension all around !

BUT... I have no garage, no driveway, and no flat surface streets nearby.

So, are there any "known" good places to post up with your Rover, floor jacks, etc. and spend the day making a mess and working on your vehicle ???

ie: Denny's parking lot, city council building, ex's driveway ???

Thanks much,
AB

Walmart allows overnight camping, I don't see why they would scoff at a lift installation party.
