Default blinker problem

I have a 1996 discovery Land Rover.

Lately the blinkers have been acting strange. Fist they would blink fast. last week they stoped and would remain on but no blinking if i used them...this past weekend they stopped all together.

I checked the fuse and its good.

Any help would be appretiated.

Also one of my headlights seem to be going dim.

well...

the hazards do not work. Blinkers do not work.

One rear amber bulb is out on the rear bumper light.

When i activate the alarm all four corner ambers light up normally.

The green signal for the trailer hitch symbol is on and will not go away.

Changing bulbs seems to simple...can it be?>

any help would be appretiated....i need a safe working car for my wife and son to drive in. no blinkers no safe.

Now with more detail, I agree, changing tail lights would be too simple.
Since your trailor light indicator is on I wouls start with those wires and see if there is a short.

sorry nuno, i was talking about the same thing, the indicator relay unit, im not sure where it is located but i found some web pages that may help you,

http://www.lrm.co.uk/archive/technical/RossLights.html - this isnt about specific problems with the unit but it might help you find it.

http://en.allexperts.com/q/Land-Rove...er-Problem.htm - this one sounds like the problem you have.

The trailor wire package is located in the r/r qt. panel. To get to it remove your r/r tail light assembly and look down inside the panel.
