Default Body lift for 98 disco 1

hi guys, im sure you have heard this a thousand times. I have a 98 disco 1 with a 2" suspenssion lift. I have recently purchased 2' body blocks and would like to know what is involved in puttimg them in. I use to own a nissan patrol and puting the body lift in was simple just had to adjust little things like radiator shroud ect ect ,would anyone exactly know what needs to be adjusted for the blocks to go in thanks matt

you will need risers for the seat belt mounts, support at the top of the radiator, brake line extensions, and an extension for the steering shaft (essentially a drive shaft) and front and rear bumper risers.

with only 2" lift and a 2" body lift i would worry about on-trail stability. If i were you I would look at 3" springs and 33" tires (or tyres). That's about as big as you can go without serious mods. what shocks are you running?

A moderate suspension lift with a body lift will keep your CoG lower than a larger suspension only lift. = more stable.

I would take the inch more in spring lift with a 3" kit and an inch less in overall height caused from a 2" lift and 2" body lift. if we were talking about a 5 inch spring lift that's a different story I would add spacers to get a wider stance rather than a 3 inch lift with 2 inch spacers. everyone has their own preferences but I'd rather have the travel and droop possibilities of shocks and springs.
