Very interesting....I've never dealt with them, nor do I know anyone that has, but they are/were located pretty close to my office.
Your post is very vague and spam like being as your only posts are regarding suing someone. If you are hoping to garner support from forum members, or find someone in a similar situation, then I would suggest being more specific as to what your story is.

In the summer of 2006, I purchased a NADA 109 and had it shipped to Charles Kellogg at British Northwest Land Rover. In phone conversations prior to shipping the Land Rover to British Northwest Land Rover, and during face-to-face meeting at his shop, I was told by Charles Kellogg that he was the foremost expert, possibly in the world, on assessing and repairing NADA Land Rover 109’s as the 6 cylinder engine was only used in the US (NADA) version of this and this was his area of expertise. He explained how people from all over the United States ship him their Land-Rovers to work on. Further, he explained in detail in story after story about how people bring him Land Rovers that have been worked on by other well-known shops and how he found their work to be inferior to his, and in some circumstances, potentially dangerous. I left feeling lucky to have stumbled upon Charles Kellogg and British Northwest Land Rover.
When leaving the truck, the instructions to Kellogg were to inspect the car and outline a plan to bring the Land Rover to level of reasonable mechanical integrity. I explained that I wanted it as a regular driver at a mountain vacation home, and therefore was interested it being mechanically reliable, but not necessarily cosmetically perfect. In a subsequent phone conversation, Kellogg outlined the areas that needed work, and I approved the work and provided a $10,000 check to be held by Kellogg in “Trust” so that he could start work. Having funds on deposit in trust with Kellogg was a requirement. He had told me he had some trouble with clients in the past.
Over time I became concerned about the lack of progress on the Land-Rover and how the relationship had evolved to become more or less “open-ended”. I expressed on several occasions to Kellogg that the project needed to be finished. In each instance, Kellogg agreed. In all cases, Kellogg failed to comply with his deadlines. Ultimately, I demanded that Charles Kellogg provide me with a written estimate (yes, we had been working with out an estimate up until this time) which in October of 2007 he did. The amount of the estimate was $37,000. This was higher than I had anticipated (as I had already paid him about $15,000), nonetheless, I wanted to get this unpleasant experience behind me. We entered into an agreement that he would work at a rate of $5000/month until completed. This did not happen.
From the 9/06 until 3/10, I paid Charles Kellogg $55,000. In June of 2010, I received an invoice for a deposit for painting. This caused me to look more closely at the invoices. I discovered massive billing problems. For example, I was billed (in multiple invoices) for 10 doors in total. I was billed for 3 complete hardware sets. One “Invoice” was just a page from the Estimate that was renamed and sent to me as an Invoice without the work being done. From what I can tell, at least $15,000 of the billing was for things charged twice or not done. That is being conservative because Charles refuses to itemize his bills.
In September of 2010 I demanded the return of my 109. In an email dated 9/22/2010, Kellogg stated that “bringing together and organizing the innumerable pieces of your project and would create nothing but chaos and disorder” and “We will do all we possibly can to gather your many parts together and call you just as soon as is humanly possible to arrange an orderly exchange of the parts”. I have yet to receive this phone call, so I am led to believe that finding and assembling the components to my Land-Rover is beyond his capacity.
Having had paid $55,000 to British Northwest Land Rover and despite having a positive Trust balance there, Charles Kellogg refuses to return my Land Rover. As a result, I am left with no other alternative except to seek repayment through the courts.
For anyone who is close to the shop, I am told that my 109 can be viewed out infront of British Northwest Land Rover’s building. It is the black rolling chassis that is chained to the building. Do me a favor, can you take a picture and post it here? I want people to see what $55,000.00 gets you at British Northwest Land Rover.

Please find attached, yet another lawsuit filed by a disgruntled customer of British Northwest Land Rover. According to the complaint, the customer was initially provided with an estimate for approximately $5000, but Charles Kellogg ultimately billed the customer for over $33,000 and failed to complete the project.
When the customer complained and demanded the return of his vehicle, Charles Kellogg of British Northwest Land Rover refused to hand over the vehicle.
The customer eventually got a court order demanding that Charles Kellogg / British Northwest Land Rover hand over the vehicle to the plaintiff.
This case is public record and I am providing this information as a public service.

Well, the original poster may well have been advised by counsel to not be very specific.
Any firm dealing with high dollar "disposable income" projects should be doing a top quality job, and realize that their clients, while heavy in the wallet, are not light in the brain. Most persons with that kind of pocket change didn't get that without having some sort of enterprise, and knowing the difference between chicken salad and chicken ... steak.
And many persons with high disposable income also have attorneys. Perhaps several.
The extra money a firm makes with shady dealings is frequently offset by legal costs and judgements.

about 18 months ago I engaged Charles to work on my 1963 Land Rover.
In the interest of due diligence I researched his company, Dare Brittannia LTD, but not him by name until now. It turns out that was a mistake.
Needless to say I have encountered the same things in this thread and those on similar sites. I wish I had changed my search parameters back when I first considered hiring Charles.
My advice: stay away from this man and his business.
