Default Buying a 2002 land rover freelander?

I am thinking about a 02 land rover freelander 152.000 klm's but to check the transmission oil I know that you must take it to a dealer
to have this done ! but it can be done yourself if you are mechanically inclined and I am pretty good
so does anyone have any good/bad opinions about this s u v

P.o.s.in my opinion
Fancy Honda c.r.v.with engine issues is all it is in my opinion

I was gonna buy the wife one, guys on several boards said run away as fast as possible they are garbage, people actually give them away

Bad engines and trans, look in the free lander section

We need to know where the OP is located. The ROW Freelanders were actually pretty good. The USA spec ones sucked.
