Default A/C Compressor Question

Hey Guy's

2001 Disco II

Does anyone know, with A/C blowing on max is it normal for the compressor to be cycling on and off every few seconds or should it be running continuously

it low on gas, the compressor is cycling off on low pressure instead of temperature

does the compressor just cycle , or does the temperature drop in the cabin to ?

if the temperature does not drop , its working normal ... when the temperature reaches to max in the cabin , the compressor cuts off , when it starts to drop it comes back on . just like when you are pulling off by a light ... its cuts off till the gear changes in the tranny...( for automatic vehicles )
