Can anyone identify the model and year of this Rover
A friend of mine sent me this picture of this car on someones small farm. I have no idea of the condition of the truck besides the photo. I think the truck looks pretty good forbeig outside for what I think is many years. I was wondering if anyone knows what year and model this is? I was also wondering what kind of price range I should ask for it? I know alot depends on mileage and condition of interior, engine and things but I don't know if we are talking about $1000 or a $5000 truck. I really have no idea. He just showed it to me and I liked it!
Any thoughts or opinions as to what I am looking at.
Thanks so much!

I've got a 74, they are tanks off road, bullet proof. If you've got the time and space to restore it, could be fun, but $$$. BUT you only live once!

The "newer" models are more valuable (2F engine, 4-spd transmission, beefier T-Case), but the older can still be worth something if the resto is done right. I've seen straight stock resto's go for $25K, but I'm guessing that the owner's are breaking even. The one in the picture looks like a good resto-mod/trail rig since it's been out in the elements and is probably pretty rusty.
Here's a fuzzy picture of my '74 with about $5K into it and I haven't even started on the rust yet :/
