Default Can someone help me please

Hi everyone
It's my first post on here as I'm looking for help. My wife has a discovery 4, I hoovered it out yesterday and notice when I went to lock the door the car immitted an unusual beep. I took the car for a spin to see if it might magically correct itself and noticed the indicators, hazards, folding mirrors and the instrument display behind the steering wheel was blank. I'm as useful as a chocolate fireguard when it comes to cars. Can anyone inform me what might be causing the issue as my wife has to do the school and nursery run before work in the morning. Thank you in advance for any information / assistance offered.....

Sorry, not too much to go on here.

Check to make sure all doors, hood, tail gate are securely closed then try to lock again.

Did you vacuum or steam clean? Were you using a 12volt vacuum? If using cigarette lighter, you may have popped a fuse with too much amperage draw, especially as everything heated up.
Can you be more specific about what isn't working? Blank doesn't apply to some of the things you mentioned.
