Default Check Eng P0727

I'm new to the Range Rover world. I purchased a 96 Rangie 4.0 SE. I know it has alot of potential. I've replaced the ABS pump and in the process of changing the Radiator in the morning. Now I'm receiving an check engine code P0727 I think this means the crankshaft sensor. Any help would be appreciated

727, Engine speed input circuit No signal.
I haven't seen this one pop up before, but because it is a 700 fault code, it will have something to do with the tranny.
