I wouldn't pay to have it done again, what shop did the work, what about a warranty? where the heads checked for cracks or warpage at the time?

Well I had my car at a Land rover dealer in omaha,hoping they would do a diagnosis on it,to make long story short had car shipped back,I had heads redone and surfaced,I'm wondering if maybe the block has to be decked,it makes same sound as when it was repaired in 1st place,as per Land Rover mech replaced all head bolts with new ones,so I am at a loss what problem could be,I'm thinking of bringing it back to guy who fixed it,otherwise will end up on a TV show Peoples Court

 

Did you pay by credit card, if so you may be able to put some pressure on the mechanic by having the bank contest the charges.

 

Well in talking to mechanic he thinks perhaps my block needs to be decked,if so I may as well have bottom end redone,I'm going by now,see if he agrees to repair it
