Default Clicking noise?

There is a clikcing noise coming from the top of the engine. I opened the hood and found that it coming from a small cylinder on the right valve cover? I touched it and it seems the noise and vibration of this piece were in sinc... What is this piece and is it broken, about to break, or is this normal?

Sounds like the valve for the secondary air, emission system.

Well once before, it was the O2 sensors. Now it is on but I think it is the wires. Autozone and Kragen do not lend out the ODBIIs here anymore because the mechanics complained. They cannot offer that type of help to drivers. It effects their business.... sucks but I need to buy it at some point right? The clicking stops when I hit the gas also.. only at idle and slow speed...

right hand side when looking at the engine??? and is it on the valve cover, or above it, does it have hoses comming off each end. it might be your purge valve, if so, its completly normal, they usually dont make that much noise. or it could be a rocker shaft if you were feeling the cover itself
