Climate control fan too loud/powerful
2012 Discovery 4 SDV6 HSE
The fan for the climate control is quite loud (i.e. powerful) on the lowest power setting. The highest and second to highest power settings are exactly the same - there is no step up in power from the second highest to the highest settings.
It seems as if all the power settings for the fan have been rotated, so instead of progressing 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 for example, it goes 0, 2, 3, 4, 5, 5.
It's a bit of a pain as it's quite loud on the lowest setting and I have to have the air vents almost shut to make it quiet. I'd be interested to hear if anyone else has had this and what the fix was.
