Default clutch fan removal

Trying to remove my clutch fan on a '97 Discovery 1. I know there are proper tools for this but I can't find the correct kit anywhere... the clutch is on but good!! Any suggestions? I'm going to try an impact hammer to see if I can jar it free.... Argh...

All the tool does is hold the pulley still instead of relying on the belt to hold it [:@] . I havn't seen the Disco's fan clutch, but if it's anything like domestics...You can use a longer closed end wrench and just brace it against another bolt on the pulley. If you still cant get enough leverage, Try a second wrench into the first one, and strong arm it.

Or you can get the right tool.. I've done both, I suppose it depends on how afraid of slipping the wrenches and busting a knuckle
