Default Check Engine Light

Hey folks,

My check engine light has come on, on my 97 Discovery 1. I'm sure it's an emissions reminder light, however I can't figure out how to put it out! I've read that it's a connection under the seat, but I can't find the correct connection. Any suggestions?

Thanks!!

the light is red. I now have 144K klm. It came on at the appropriate, 134K klm mark though. Thus my thought of the emissions.... the truck is running very well otherwise.

There is an orange relay with a Rover emblym on it inside the passenger kick panel. Look at it, you will see a hole in the emblym, use a paper clip wire, with the ignition on, stick the wire in the hole and short the relay, that will reset it.
