Default Cylinder misfire

Help disco doctors,
I cant find any threds on my exact issue...maybe someone else experienced this. I have a misfire on #7 with the appropriate code and yes it runs accordingly (rough). My wire is good I checked spark on the companion cylinder #4 and have spark. #6 and #1 have spark also. I thought the the coil as a whole would go bad.....is it wierd to drop just the one? Is there a ECU issue or any other causes.

Thanks in advance
Rick

I am working on my sisters 2000 with 95k miles.

Try a compression test on your engine.

Thank you.

Some parts of the forum do not get used as much as others so it takes longer for a reply.

Coil pack would have been my first guess. Same darn issue on the Audi we have. Audi actually did a recall on the coil packs they were so bad.
