Default dash lights

I have a 2000 Discovery. The dash lights for Abs, Traction control and hill descent have come on. I took it to a European repair shop and they reset the ECU and a code#4086 sesor left hand front came up. They said it wasn't a big deal and its possibly wear in front wheel bearing that causes sensor trip. Does this sound correct? I plan to off-road soon do I need to get this fixed? (cost?) And is it something I could take care of myself?

Did the light come back on again, if not, don't worry about it, if it did come back on, you will be fine for your drive and when you get ready, financially then repair it. There is no saftey issue in the mean time.

The lights did come back on after about 15 miles. Does the front bearing cause this to happen? What would approximate cost to repair? Thanks for reply and info!

It can, and being all one piece, you have to replace the entire hub for about $420 including a new speed sensor.
Here again, you don't need to replqace this right away unless the wheel bearing has just totally failed and you would feel and or hear it.
