So, I'm working on this Defender. The car came in with some problems and we identified a malfunctioning CVVA that had to have it replaced. Car worked just fine afterwards. Followed all removing and reinstalling the CVVA protocols, tested everything with the scanner, 100% fine.
Job done, just left some plastics and engine covers to put back into place for the next day and an oil change.
Next day arrives, changed oil... time to start the engine and check for leaks...
Car is almost compeltely dead.
Key locks and unlocks just fine, also open the trunk. Button on the back to ajust the suspension height also works, rear view mirrors close when locking with the key.
Electric seats ajustment works, internal lights working, windows do not work.
Other than that the car is completely dead, no instrument cluster, no dash, no crank, no start. Car is dead.
Checked all fuses and relays, all fine. When Start button is pressed you can hear the relay activating but nothing else.
We noticed the battery was discharging slowly, but tried with a brand new one and... nothing. (Just checked, new battery was installed on friday 12th, charge now is at 12.1v, should be 12,6v)
Any idea what it could be?
