So I am replacing the motor in my disco with one that has 66k on it. I removed the heads and had them all done but the motor is on a stand and is greasy as heck. My thoughts are to drain the oil rotate the motor upside down after I remove all the lifters and mark where they came out of. Use something like plastic and painters tape to help seal the top of the pistons and valley from water and degreasing it. Any thoughts on a good way or what I am doing probably going to work well.
