Hi all, we have got some heavy snow here at the mo so I had the diff lock on H today for the first time since i got the car a few months back. Thing is I can't find the position to get it back into the normal unlocked 4WD. You have a L at top and an H at bottom with an N centre. I seem to keep clicking it into neutral and so I put the main gears into 1st, reverse whatever and it just revs. What position do i need for normal driving????

to lock and unlock the diif you just slide the lever left or right. you only move it foreward or backward to switch to low or high range gearing, highrange is for normal driving.

 

pull lever into neutral, move lever left for lock, right for un-lock, then up for low, or down for high. On a paved road un-locked & high. on snowy, slick, muddy road, locked & high.
Use low range if you really need it. (climbing, pulling, you know)
