My first post though I've reading the forum for a few weeks.

I bought a 1995 Discovery 300TDI. It is generally in fair shape and at the same time has a few leaks and issues that I would like to repair. While under it I noticed a hose coming out of the top of the transfer case and extending a few feet and seems to have been cut.
I'm not sure if it is a hose or the outside case/armour of a cable of some sort but I can't see anything inside it.
