Default Disco 2: Mystery Bolt Identification

Hey all,

I’m in the middle of a Disco 2 rebuild and I’ve got spare bolt; can’t remember where I got it from. It was mixed in with a bin of misc oil pan bolts, but it looks like it’s from inside the engine. Can someone help me identify where this guy goes?

It’s a 10mm bolt with M6-1.0 threads, and is about 1.5” in total length. It has no rust and looks like it’s lived in oil.

Build thread is here: https://landroverforums.com/forum/bu...ild-nh-101158/

Maybe try posting in the Disco2 forum instead of the General forum.

All, I finally found it. Looks like it was part of the oil pump pickup tube/plate:
