8) The reason for the gaurd is that the filler neck is now longer as it has to travel a foot to the 300TDi tanks inlet, it's made of steel but I thought I had best protect it a little more. I could have gone ad and fitted twin shocks etc.. but the idea behind the build was it had to cost nothing but time.
