Disco I OEM Radio Issues
Hi all,
Brand new to the forums and looking for a little help. I have a '95 Disco 1 with the OEM radio and other day I had to replace the battery. After the swap I punched in the security code for the radio and... nothing. It still displayed "CODE". I tried a few more times and then it started beeping at me, so, per the owners manual I stopped trying. Today I drove for an hour with the radio on (still displaying "CODE" with no music) and after the hour was up, per the manual, inputted the security code again. Still nothing. I've also completely disconnected the battery and re-hooked up to see if I cold "reset" the radio and that hasn't worked either. Any ideas?
Thanks!

Maybe radio was oem, but swapped from another vehicle. Dismantlers like Paul Grant might have one you could swap in there. If you decide to upgrade to a new radio, there are two antenna connection back there. One is AM/FM; the other is FM only, and you may be an AM listener.
