Default Disco II brake mistake?

Hi- I just bought my first Land Rover. It's a nice Disco II 1999. I was topping up fluids when I realized I added approx. 4 oz. of DOT 3 brake fluid and the cap on the master calls for DOT4. Did I pull a major boo-boo? I haven't driven it yet -should I try to shop-vac the top off and add DOT4? Thanks everyone!

Yes you did, suck it all out then do a full 3 pint brake flush to make sure you get it all out, ASAP.

Default Ok to drive to work?

I work at a Ford dealership-12 miles away. Do you believe driving it will hurt anything or should I let it sit-suck it out and replace it prior to driving it?
