Disconnected Fibre Optic cable under driver seat. 2008 TDV8
G'day from Oz, new on here so bear with me If I'm in the wrong location.
I've been looking at trying to get my rear DVD screens working. I've located a Fibre Optic Cable that's come unplugged somewhere from the unit below the drivers seat. Can anyone tell me where it plugs in? I can't see any obvious plughole amongst all the wires and connections. :/ The rear DVD Unit appears to work ok, but it says no signal. I thought it's probably that communication unit in the rear. But I figured since the problem doesn't appear as others I've read, I figured that I'd try and check all the connections. and came across this sucker. Is this plug from that rear unit? Could this be my problem? The front screen doesn't work also DVD's load and try play but the ''No connection'' message just comes up. Had the car a couple years, it's well serviced and looked after, and everything else is in good order and condition. Thanks for any help/replies in advance.
Bump? Anyone? Any hint Idea? Is it a spare Optical cable? Has it been diconnected so as to not trigger a fault code? It has the red light come out when the Ign is turned on. So, it has power. It's a 2008 Sport with the rear entertainment system.
