Default Replacing the NAV DVD

First off happy to be here.

Today I received my new NAV DVD update and as per the maual raised my driver seat to the higest positon and moved it forward to expose the DVD unit. This was supposed to give me access to the front of the unit but it does not, it is the back of the unit. I then moved the seat all the way toward the rear and I can see the front of the unit but I cannot access it because there is a guard with all sorts of electronic bits in the way. How does one change the NAV DVD! Argh...

Sure thing Jantiz, I will let you know after I take it to the dealership for my oil change next month. I wonder if the NAV unit was installed backward at the factory? I doubt it but who knows. I can't wait to ask the techs at the dealership about this!

youre doing it right, go in from the front, and dont move it all the way foward... theres a lock switch on it that may be on, if so, youll have to switch it to unlocked

Ah thank you much. I'll give it another go tonight.

Edit: Worked a treat! I did nit think I had enough room to squeeze my hand under the seat but I did. Thank you again!
