Is there a middle of the road reliable fuel pump for the Discovery 1? Prices are either scary cheap or $600+ for OEM.

 

If all you want/need is the pump motor itself, look for an Airtex 3270 or AC Delco EP241. Strainer is a Delco TS7.

Use caution removing the hose connections from the top of the pump housing. They are likely to be brittle.

 

I'm letting my trusty foreign auto repair shop sort out the fuel issues. I will take care of the bit-picking myself once it's running. And of course this forum will be aa life saver !
