I'm sure others with more experience will chime in, but first I'd check that your battery connections and fuses associated with your problem are making good electrical contact and you have 12.7 or so volts at the battery before starting, then a common culprit seems to be the brake light switch (internal connections burnt/corroded), I automatically replaced mine when I bought the car even though I had no problems. Electrical problems like corroded connectors are also an issue, you would need to supply information in detail to get more specific responses, things like does it crank but not start, if it does not crank do you hear a clicking noise coming from the solenoid, what other error indications are there, what year and engine type is it (gasoline or diesel), do you have any codes from a code reader and so on.
Hi Eric
Thanks for the reply.
If I turn the key / ignition this is the only messages I received, the engine didn't turn at all.
Tried 2 different batteries both above 12,7 volt
Its a Discovery 3 2008 S Diesel
Please find attached photos of the info screen

A link on this forum to a very similar problem with a 2008 gasoline powered LR3 (North American D3) is at https://landroverforums.com/forum/lr...ny-more-97107/ . Just to give you a few more ideas, if you are uncomfortable with electrical issues get some experienced assistance...
Also read through this https://landroverforums.com/forum/lr...t-46701/page3/ thread, many problems with a defective brake switch...
Another thread with more comments is https://landroverforums.com/forum/lr...ult-hdc-68336/ .
Good Luck, some of these problems are very time consuming to diagnose...

Brake switch is on driver's side and you have to remove the bottom dash cover and usually the face panel (makes job easier), there is a video on YouTube at
and another one at Atlantic British
