Default Discovery 4 Brake Fault

Hi guys
I have a 16 month old D4 TDV6 3 litre 25000km
we have had a recurring series of warning messages
they are park brake fault
stability control no available
emergency brake assist not available
gearbox fault
HDC not available
they occur within 5 mins of starting off and go if the vehicle is stopped and turned off
they appear about once every week
service department say its a brake fault and is due to driving with the brake and accelerator pedals both being pushed together
iwe have had the car for 16 months and no difference in driving style or shoes used to drive
i tried to replicate the fault by touching brake and accelerator no faults seen
anybody seen the same problem
any fixes
cheers

When this happens you might want to check and see if the brake lamps are illuminated.
You could also have someone check the brake lamps while you lightly press and release the brake pedal.
The brake lamps should illuminated between approx 5mm and 8mm of brake travel.
If the brake lamps illuminate before 5mm of travel, or by just touching the pedal,
and do not turn off unless you pull the brake pedal back you can suspect the problem
is in the brake switch itself (adjusment or electrical).

Cheers
