Distributor probs please help!!!

Angry Distributor probs please help!!!

Have now put 3 yes 3!!! distributors in my 93 discovery along with a new coil after a short amount of work the distributor goes...will just be driving along the car cuts out with no warning and then no spark and the distributor fried....Can any one shed some light on this issue????

Are they new, used or after market? How do you know it is the dist. that is causing this problem?

Muzz,
I would check grounds. How is your coils grounded....start there and move out. Maybe something else will sound better but grounds will screw stuff up.

have done 3 distributors....all original all earths have been checked and are good. We believe it is not the distributor causing the issue- it frying is the result of the mystery problem.
