Default ECM or New Wheel Speed Sensor

Alright guys, I recently rented an Amigo from my club, read codes and had a shuttle valve electrical failure and front right low output on the wheel speed sensor. I have addressed the shuttle valve issue, code is gone, as for the front right wheel speed sensor, the hub assembly was replaced six months ago with a new hub assembly. The three amigos stay off until about 40-45 mph, then they are back, with the low output code. I have multi metered the wheel speed sensor turning the wheel by hand. Mike, tell me what to do next!

for the record the code is an ABS fault 044

after checking continuity on the sensor i'm not sure what else to reccomend.

i don't think you can swap the sensor for a sensor on the other side so the only option might be to try and get your hands on a junked truck and pull the sensor from there to see if it actually the sensor and not something else causing the fault. I say a junked one just because it will cost you all of $15 from a junk yard but I believe the sensor new is a little over $100.

lets wait to hear what Mike or Spike have to say. What happened to Josh? he
was so busy with fixing every ABS issue on the island maybe he came across the 044.

Gotcha, next step is to look at all the connections.

Things that will also cause a speed sensor fault can be a warped rotor, squeaking brakes and bad bearings in the hub.
When you replaced the hub, was it a new one from Rover with a new speed sensor included, if so you have a 1 year warranty.
