EKA problem (Enigine disable press remote or use key code)

Default EKA problem (Enigine disable press remote or use key code)

Please help.
I got a Land rover Range rover 1996 2,5tds. In past the Eka problem has come up some few times. When this happened i used to go outside of the car and do the "lock and unlock procedure" and this always worked.
Land Rover EKA Code (Emergency Key Access) Code

Today this problem came up once again.. but it didn't work with usual key procedure. at the end of this procedure the alarm used to make a beep noise twise but this didn't happen today. I i tried a few times, waited the time to try more but nothing happened. I even tried with key nr. 1 and nr. 2... I read that i could try a "restart". The restart was unplugging the battery and wait for 5 minutes and then plugg it back in, but nothing changed

Is there something i missed or sould to diffrent ?

Are you getting an "engine disabled" message on the dash?

If you are, proceed at your own risk, but this worked for me:

P38 engine disabled

Driver door
Green/red wire
Blue/red

Splice into both wires and attach to a ground.

Worked for me.

now you use this all the time ? or did it fix the engine disable and later use the key again?

Used it once to resolve the issue, then disconnected the wires and used the key
