electric mirror problem

Default electric mirror problem
Each time I select reverse gear the auto mirrors work but move in different directions each time and never return to original settings. Its a '96 Range Rover P38 4.6 HSE

Any ideas?

If the mirror dips and does not return upward, you need a new mirror assembly.
