engine noise in front of engine

the noise i think is coming from the the front of the engine.my dad thinks it might be the timing chain any idea that can help me .

when the truck is on and ticking/knocking the truck runs very well oil pressure is good.

Hi Eulogio.
Is it a TD5 engine?If so,remove the V-belt,start the engine and listen if the noise is still there.
