Is engine really dead?
Almost surely a valve.
Get a new head (or better yet, take yours off and to an engine shop to have valves done) slap it on, flip off the inspection station, bask in glory.
Even broken piston rings will give you some compression unless all three layers are broken.
Unless there is a hole in the cylinder that you can see it would (almost) have to be valves, as Number9 said.

Thanks all. I am taking it to a new place tomorrow after letting him read printout. He says like you do. So next question: what could happen if I drove without cylinder 5?
I think I have been for a couple of months already. Will engine sieze?

If you pull the oil dipstick it probably smells like gas.
I went to check if the drip stick smelled of gas. Maybe a bit couldn't tell not strong. I also noticed what looks like a bicyle plug on the engine. See photos where it looks like hoses should be but aren't. Opinions?
In pic 1 you might want to replace the hose/ valve cover to ram housing. Just get the kit > PCV Tune-Up Kit For GEMS Engines | Land Rover Engine Parts
Simple install >
