Question external temp sensor sticking at 32

Any quick fix for this?? Frequently when I start my 98 4.0 SE the "outside temp" on the control panel reads 32. This prevents the AC from working. Afters driving for several mins the reading starts to creep up. When it gets above 32 AC will work. No codes.

Thanks!

Look at the sensor itself. put in it warm water to see if it changes quickly. if not then its the wiring. sometimes the wiring on the passenger and driver kick well connectors get water in them and begin to rot.
