Default FCC ID code

I have a 2008 Land Rover LR2.
I need to know the FCC ID code, but it is faded and impossible to read.
Can I assume that it will be NT8 TX9, as when browsing net looking for new key, this is the number that keys for the LR2 2008 is always shown.
Are all North American LR2 2008's the same FCC ID code?
Thanks

I think the FCC code is just a certification give by the FCC that the particular device meets FCC requirements regarding radio transmission.
I'm not sure a used key can be programmed to the vehicle, it seems to be hit or miss. LR3 and Range Rovers cannot have used keys programmed to them. I have done a few used on 2010+ vehicles. Never tried an LR2.

On Ebay they say it is brand new. This is the link...

Land Rover LR2 Keyless Entry Remote Control / Smart Key 315 Mhz Genuine New | eBay

Long link.

Our local guy here says he can program it, just need to be correct FCC ID number, hence my question, are all LR@ 2008 the same number.

Thanks for your input.

If its a brand new LR part, then you should be good to go. The only issues I have had is 315Mhz vs 433 Mhz. The auction says that one is 315 which should be correct. If you are in doubt, they conveniently provided the LR part number, you could always call the dealer with your VIN and get the part number and see if it matches.

Unfortunately, Dealer here in my city do not provide any information with VIN number, they argue that if they do that you won't give the business to them $$$$
