Finally got the Land Rover fixed, and now the alarm won't stop going off
We just disconnected the battery because as soon as it's back connected the horns honking lights flashing...it becomes ..well...a disco.
Just had the starter put in took it around the block, shut it off and went to turn it back on, and all was dark , so figured one of the terminals were loose on the battery. As soon as it was reconnected all lights went on and withing minutes the alarm went off. The only way to shut it off was by unhooking the battery. I've looked through the forums and have seen something about an alarms swith under the hood....where would that be? Any help would be greatly appreciated since it's been since September that I've not had this car, and I was really looking forward to having it back. ...and if it needs to be reset, how does one do that? I'm at a loss, and would be so grateful for your help
It's a 1997 Discovery...and I'm a sad chick from Massachusetts
