Default FL warranty work

freelander went to Fort Worth the other day due to an oil leak. turns out it was the oil pan gasket. roadside assistance sent a flatbed wrecker and it was gone, sat in FW for a couple days since LR's RSA doesn't tow a vehicle back if it broke down within 50 miles of your home. [:@] the dealership is 300+ miles away. so wqe argued with RSA and they said talk to the dealer, see if we can work something out. and we did, the dealer brought it back on thier powerstroke.

It would be highly unlikely that your oil pan gasket was at fault with your 05' NAS V-6 because it does not have an oil pan gasket. It is a modular designed engine which uses precision machined surfaces and Hylomar to seal them together. Hylomar was developed by Rolls Royce and is used in the air craft industry also.
What exactly does the Dealer claim to have repaired ?

Something is fishy here. Does it list a part number on your repair order for the " gasket " ?
