Freelander 2 bluetooth sync with Android
I have a 2007 FL2, and just bought a new HTC desire HD, bluetooth seems to work ok except for the address book sync, the names etc are just alphabet symbols.
HTC say
"What we believe is that the car kit doesn't have the right bluetooth profile to access the desire HD's phone book. It is likely the landrover car kit has rSAP(Remote Sim Access Protocol) and the desire HD needs APBP (Access Phone Book Profile)."
Over my head i'm afraid, is there a way to resolve this so that I can sync my Android phone.

I know its been a while, but did you ever sort your issues? I have exactly the same problems with my HTC desire. When it does eventually stay connected, the phonebook just shows letters and symbols.
Its driving me mad! My freelander is a 2007 model - do you think a software update is necessary?
