Freelander headlights blowing constantly
Hi,
Hope someone can give some insight to this issue! I have a Freelander 2014 and in the last 2 years we have had over 14 new headlight bulbs fitted. These have been fitted at main dealer, local LR garage and Halfords, needless to say they have been a variety of manufacturers. When we took it in to the the main dealers the said there was nothing wrong and changed the bulb despite there being a long history of failures but then again the service level at Inchcape Norwich was pretty bad anyway.
The local garage found a list of headlight faults on the computer scan and also found that the bulbs were exploding not just burning out, They checked the connections and earths and replaced the bulbs in Dec 2019 and one blew again yesterday, again glass everywhere. What is going on here? None of the other bulbs do it but I am hoping someone has had the same issue and has a fix! Thanks.
