Default Frnt. Pass. Actuator, adjustment

Reinstalling actuator, after replacing damaged door handle. Actuator/Door Handle attachment point sticking. Interior door handle unlock functions correctly, electronic unlock functions correctly; exterior door handle does not function correctly. I must reach inside door cavity and manually push actuator/exterior door handle attachment point up to "free up" function. I have removed unit and it operates "freely". When reinstalled it snugs up and sticks. Only the exterior door handle/actuator attachment point. Lubrication does not appear to be an issue. It was functioning fine prior to its removal and the installation of the new door handle. Any ideas?
